Essay

The object of the study is alopecia areata. The aim is to improve diagnostic methods, increase the treatment effectiveness of patients with alopecia areata by developing the comprehensive differentiated method of treatment based on the study of morphological, pathophysiological, immunological and hormonal changes taking into account the clinical features of the disease. Methods: clinical, socio-psychological, immunoenzyme, biochemical, pathomorphological and immunohistochemical, instrumental, statistical. Immunomorphological changes depending on the stage of the pathological process with impaired cytokine expression have been established. Disorders of systemic cytokine homeostasis (IL-1beta, IL-17, IL-4, IL-10) and HBS-70, markers of angiogenesis (sVEGFR1, VEGF, EGF, NO, NOS) were detected. Changes in the level of adaptive hormones, reduced quality of life indicated a failure of regulatory mechanisms. An treatment algorithm has been developed taking into account the stages of the course and severity of alopecia areata, which consists in the differential use of glucocorticosteroids, tivortin, dalargin, minoxidil. Therapy helped to increase the effectiveness of treatment, the restoration of most laboratory parameters. The main thesises of the dissertation are introduced into the practice of work: MNE of the Kharkiv Regional Council "Regional Clinical Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary № 1", MNE "City Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary № 1" of the Kharkiv City Council, MNE "City Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary № 4" of the Kharkiv City Council, ME "Kremenchug Regional Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary of Poltava Regional Council", ME "Rivne Regional Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary" of Rivne Regional Council, Municipal Enterprise "Regional Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary" of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, also in the educational process of the Departments: dermatovenereology of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, dermatology, venereology of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, general and clinical immunology and allergology of V.
