Object of study. Cycles of economic growth of countries. The aim of the study. Theoretical substantiation of institutional conditionality of cyclical economic growth of countries and basic principles of state regulation of their economic dynamics. Research methods. Combination of logical and historical, induction, deduction, scientific abstraction, retrospective, systemic, structural-functional, normative and positive, economic-statistical analysis and synthesis. Theoretical and practical results. The periodic fluctuations of divergent dynamics of economies in the conditions of globalization and regional integration are explained. Novelty. It was found that the primary cause of economic cycles may be market institutions. The mechanism of their influence on economic activity aimed at changing the structure of aggregate demand and aggregate supply in favor of new or traditional products is revealed. Degree of implementation. Implemented. Scope of use. The research is used in the field of economics for the preparation of scientific and analytical materials for public authorities of Ukraine and in the educational process.
