The dissertation is focused on determining the essence and specific features of the organization of the state system of the Republic of Poland, on clarifying the ways of its improvement and the possibilities of using the Polish experience of constitutional modeling of the state system in Ukraine. The author of the dissertation has studied the main approaches to the content of the concept of «state system» in the Polish legal doctrine. The general system of principles of the state system of the Republic of Poland has been determined. Their classification has been carried out. The author has established the main system features that allow to classify the Republic of Poland as a democratic, legal, social state. The form of the Polish state under the current Constitution of 1997 has been clarified. The author has provided the detailed institutional and functional characteristics of the practice of realization of the constitutional principle of separation of powers in the Republic of Poland. The constitutional and legal status of the highest state authorities of the Republic of Poland has been determined. In particular, the author has established peculiarities of the constitutional and legal status of the Sejm and the Senate as Chambers of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland. The systematic analysis of the constitutional and legal status of the head of state in the Republic of Poland has been carried out. The role and place of the Government of the Republic of Poland in the system of executive agencies have been clarified. The constitutional and legal status of the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Tribunal and the State Tribunal in the system of the highest judicial agencies of the Republic of Poland has been determined. The author has studied the territorial organization of power in the Republic of Poland as the results of the reform of 1997. The constitutional and legal status of central and local executive agencies of the Republic of Poland has been determined. The peculiarities of the territorial organization of judicial and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Poland have been established. The place and role of territorial self-government agencies within the system of public power of the Republic of Poland have been clarified.
