Kornaha Y. Models and methods for organization and control of heterogeneous distributed databases with a dynamic structure based on a network-centric approach

The dissertation researches intended to solve an important scientific and applied problem of methodic basis development for the synthesis of a distributed data processing systems, that will increase the efficiency of the control and the operations of a distributed database in computer systems with a dynamic structure based on a network-centric approach. There is suggested a brand new model for the estimation of the information processing parameters in distributed systems with a dynamic structure where the heterogeneous distributed databases are implemented. Also, there is suggested a new method for synthesis of a distributed data processing system. The scientific novelty of this method is based on models for estimating of the data processing parameters and on the analysis and forecasting of functional parameters, as well as on the methods for determining the number of data processing nodes in systems with dynamic structure based on a network-centric control mechanism. This new method allows to increase the efficiency of heterogeneous distributed databases.
