This dissertation focuses on sociological conceptualization of socio-cultural determinants for institutionalization of population’s informal employment social practices that has been carried out for the first time in the native Sociological Science. The practices embody a standardised extralegal and illegal (shadow, grey, hidden) totality of practical activities, actions and free (informal) socio-economic relations of labour activity subjects that have been established in the employment area of Ukraine. On the basis of complex empirical investigations we have characterized the dominance of informal (expolary-economy type) and expansion of social practices for informal employment, that act as a core of formation of conceptual regional networking model for socio-cultural and socio-economic assistance during the global change and social transformations in the frontier region of Ukraine.
