Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a new technological process of obtaining materials, based on thermochemical pressing of solid chemical elements (intermetallides) during exothermic chemical reaction and plastic deformation of the product of synthesis. The scientific work considers the theory and technology of thermochemical pressing processes, such as thermodynamics, kinetics, chemical reactions, patterns and mechanisms of intermetallic formation, processes of consolidation and plastic deformation of the synthesized product, etc. For industrial use, the mixture compositions and the technological modes of thermochemical pressing have been developed, which allow to create intermetallic alloys with a given set of properties for specific operating conditions: intermetallic alloys with high catalytic properties for catalysts for neutralization of carbon-containing gas emissions (PJSC "Ukrgrafit") and heat-resistant alloys for the parts of gas-turbine engines and aircraft which operate at temperatures up to 700 оС (JSC "Motor Sich").
