Object: the professional training of future culturologists’ in modern conditions of digitalization of education. The purpose of the study is to develop, scientifically substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of the system of formation of professional competence of future culturologists’ by means of digital technologies. Methodological approaches: systemic, culturological, synergetic, axiological, personal, activity, resource, information, competence. The methods of using digital technologies in the process of future culturologists’ professional training are identified, which are relevant today: general didactic methods (visual and demonstrative, problem-searching, implemented by the tools of digital learning in the format of project-based activities). The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the obtained results is in the fact that for the first time: a comprehensive study of the future culturologists’ professional training with the use of digital technologies is conducted; the system of developing future culturologists’ professional competence using digital technologies is theoretically substantiated and developed; specific principles of using digital technologies in the future culturologists’ professional training are identified (the principle of education informatization, the principle of open education, the multimedia principle, the principle of activating creative activity with the use of digital technologies); the essence of the concept ,, future culturologists’ professional competence” is determined as the integrative quality of a personality that includes acquired knowledge, skills and abilities, developed value orientations and experience to carry out professional activities using digital technologies; the structure of future culturologists’ professional competence is defined and substantiated which involves five components: art; psychological and pedagogical; culturological; organizational and economic; information and communication (digital), which are cohere with the processes of digitalizing society, culture and education; the pedagogical conditions of realizing the system of developing future culturologists’ professional competence using digital technologies are revealed; criteria and indicators for diagnosing the development of information and communication (digital) component of future culturologists’ professional competence are developed. The following scientific ideas are being developed: methodological approaches to future culturologists’ modern training based on the specific features of digital technologies; the essence of the concepts ,,digital culture”, ,,digital competence”, ,,digital literacy”, ,,information and communication (digital) culture”, ,,digital educational resources” is specified; digital educational resources in Culture Studies are classified; the specificity of future culturologists’ training in the context of digitalizing culture and education is revealed, in particular the features of information and communication (digital) component of the future culturologists’ professional competence. The forms and methods of professional training of specialists in specialty 034 Culture Studies with the use of digital technologies, as well as the diagnostic tools for measuring the development of future culturologists’ professional competence are improved. The practical significance of the research is determined by developing and implementing the system of developing future culturologists’ professional competence using digital technologies in the practice of higher education institutions. The pedagogical and methodological support of this system is developed, which includes: digital educational resource – the electronic guidebook ,,Ukrainian Culture of the Late 19th – Early 20th Century” for advanced study of national culture in the context of European artistic and aesthetic areas and trends by bachelors of specialty 034 Culture Studies; a teaching complex of the academic discipline – the special course ,,Digital Technologies of Modern Culture Education” for future specialists of specialty 034 Culture Studies, which includes teaching programs, lecture plans, interactive multimedia presentations for lectures, plans of practical classes, assignments for practical and independent student work, tests for controlling students’ knowledge and skills; distance course ,,Digital Technologies of Modern Culture Education”, developed on the basis of the learning environments Moodle and Google Classroom, which provides the processing of special course materials and allows to fully implement the principles of blended learning; the teaching guidebook ,,Multimedia Teaching Tools in the Future Culturologists’ Training”, explaining the practical use of digital technologies, in particular digital educational resources of various types for developing culturologists’ professional competence.
