Bugera O. Criminological principles of using the Internet to prevent crime.

The dissertation is the first in jurisprudence complex research of criminological bases of use of the Internet for crime prevention in the context of modern tendencies of development of criminological science concerning use of information and communication technologies in the conditions of digitalization of the majority of spheres of human life. This approach makes it possible to establish the basic theoretical and criminological principles of using the Internet to prevent crime in Ukraine and to identify effective measures for the implementation of preventive activities at the general social, special criminological and individual levels. Based on the dissertation research, a number of documents were developed, including: the Concept of using the Internet to prevent crime, the Strategy for preventing crime based on the use of the Internet for 2020-2025 and the Action Plan for its implementation, the draft Law of Ukraine «On the use of the Internet to prevent crime», etc.
