Essay

The research object is German hermeneutics of the XIX–XX centuries and the scope of its issues as a systemic integrity despite the differences of some concepts. The dissertation aims at outlining the scope of the issues of philosophical hermeneutics in relation to the development of German philosophy of the XIX–XX centuries in the context of the transformation of hermeneutic discourse into a general philosophical paradigm of modernity. The methodology of the dissertation includes the historical critical method, systematic structural analysis, comparative, hermeneutic and phenomenological methods. The integrity of the historical and philosophical retrospective study of the ideas of philosophical hermeneutics was supported by the unanimity of cultural-historical and paradigmatic approaches, which provide a clearer vision of the role and objectives of hermeneutics in different historical periods and within different scientific and philosophical paradigms. The practical significance of the dissertation is primarily that the study provided an opportunity to reproduce a relatively holistic picture of the emergence of hermeneutic issues and its further implementation in the context of the humanities. philosophical hermeneutics as it has formed over the past two centuries is not a separate philosophical and methodological discipline or just an author’s concept. On the contrary, we observe the convergence of separate hermeneutic approaches arising in the domains of philosophy, philology, history, psychology, specific hermeneutic philosophy or hermeneutic movement in philosophy, which considered philosophical hermeneutics only as a constituent) to the movement permeating all spheres of humanitarian knowledge, social and cultural life. Despite the fact that in the twentieth century there have been made attempts to identify the stages in the formation of German philosophical hermeneutics (G. Shpet, J. Grondin, etc.), our study has revealed three main stages in the development of German philosophical hermeneutics that reflect its content. It has been proven philosophical hermeneutics in its basic principles is a metaphysical theory. The study is the first to have justified the certain phenomenological experience underlies modern hermeneutic philosophy, i.e. phenomenology in the oeuvre of its founders is viewed a basic theoretical component of hermeneutics. The dissertation has revealed the role of A. Meinong in the formation of modern hermeneutic discourse and hermeneutic philosophy. The research has found out that the most critical to the hermeneutic tradition, analytical philosophy, known as the most critical to the hermeneutic tradition, in the works and ideas of its representative. The sphere of application is education.
