Stasyuk T. Terminological Sphere of Advanced Technologies: Lingual, Social, Cognitive Factors in Formation and Development.

The dissertation is devoted to one of the challenging problems of the modern world terminology, the sociocognitive research of terms. The subject of sociocognitive analysis is the termsphere of the latest technologies in the technical, natural, informational, telecommunicational and sociohumanitarian scientific and professional conceptual spheres. For the first time in Ukrainian terminology, the processes and results of conceptualization and categorization in terminology, import and semantic specialization of termconcepts, term-generation and concep-creation in scientific / professional discourse were studied. The complex methodology of research of the terms of the latest technologies is developed, which allowed to integrate the methods of sociolinguistics, cognitive linguistics, cognitive semantics, and terminology. The theoretical and methodological background of the dissertation is based on the anthropocentric approach in modern linguistics, which focuses research on the analysis of the semantic component of lexical units, namely, the internal form of the term and termsphere. The dissertation presents the results of conceptualization research in scientific / professional discourse. At this stage of the analysis, modeling of the term concept “the latest technologies” in the form of sets of features constituting terminological definitions, conceptual networks, conceptual fields for constructing terminology, databases was carried out.
