The dissertation provides a theoretical and methodological justification and solution of the scientific problem of preparing future masters of psychology for professional activity in a non-formal education. It is shown that one of the most popular demands of the market of non-formal educational services is psychological knowledge and practical skills that allow the fullest realization of the natural potential of each person and determine the need to revise certain parameters of vocational education. The leading idea of the study is to understand the training of future masters of psychology as a process of controlled internalization of the required set of standardized competencies, which takes place in the logic of specialized academic training of students majoring in 053 Psychology at the second level of higher education, which is non-formal education. The innovative vision of the specifics of the professional activity of future masters of psychology in the context of non-formal education is based on its two main aspects which are the functions and the roles that should be implemented and performed by a psychologist in these conditions. Thus, the main functions of masters of psychology in non-formal education are: educational, corrective and developmental. These functions are integrated in the three following role positions of masters of psychology in non-formal education such as psychologist, teacher and entrepreneur. The pedagogical strategy of preparation of future masters of psychology for professional activity in the conditions of non-formal education is divided into the following phases: design, technologicalization and adjustment. The design phase is aimed at developing individual development trajectories of all components of the training of masters of psychology, necessary to ensure the effectiveness of their professional activities in non-formal education. The phase of technologicalization is aimed at effective theoretical and practical preparation of future masters of psychology for professional activity in the context of non-formal education. The adjustment phase is aimed at adjusting the individual trajectory of future masters of psychology and personal «startups» developed by them, based on the analysis of difficulties encountered by master psychologists at the stage of implementing the preparation and testing of individual trajectory of personal «startups» during teaching internship and psychological practice
