Essay

The didactic system of foreign language personalization for students majoring in engineering at technical universities, its conceptual theoretical background, and practical recommendations are presented in the thesis. The objective of the research is to substantiate theoretically and test experimentally the didactic system of autonomous personalized learning of foreign language for students majoring in engineering. A model of the didactic system of autonomous personalized learning has been developed. The system combines the following components: value-target, motivational-diagnostic, content-technological, organizational-instructional, and project-reflexive components. The results of the didactic system implementation are the development of competence of foreign language individual improvement. The criteria for measuring the level of the competence development are described: the criterion of an individual learning experience, the criterion of orientation to educational autonomy, analytical-linguistic criterion and analytical-didactic criterion, the criterion of a conscious choice of digital resources, the criterion of reasoned evaluation and reflection criterion. The effectiveness of the didactic system of autonomous personalized learning of foreign language teaching for engineering students has been experimentally tested and recommendations for its implementation have been developed.
