Essay

The dissertation sets out the theoretical foundations of the formation of architecture of non-formal education institutions (NFEI). Approaches and methods for the reorganization of architectural and typological units of non-formal education institutions (NFEI) of various capacities and purposes are scientifically substantiated, corresponding to the present requirements for the creation of civic educational institutions of a new type and the requirements for formation of a modern educational space on the part of related industries. Age, territorial, typological and time frames of the study have been substantiated and the analysis of the development of the architecture of institutions similar in function has been carried out; a typological tree of development has been created in the context of genesis of institutions. The research methods are indicated: theoretical, empirical, methods of complex and system analysis and the author has introduced and substantiated a special research method - the method of "related" typology. The parameters of this method are defined and justified, namely: I parameter - to identify in the types of buildings that are being compared, groups of rooms necessary for the main educational process (classes, laboratories, workshops, etc.) or to determine the possibility of their arrangement; II parameter - to identify the group of premises necessary for the full functioning of the main institution and the establishment-symbiont (general club rooms, dining rooms, buffets, bathrooms, auxiliary rooms, etc.) in accordance with the schedule (mode) of operation and bandwidth; III parameter - to determine theoretically the standard availability of recreational areas of the main institution, or the possibility of their device, in order to build a common communication space with a symbiont institution; IV parameter - to determine the normative availability of territorial resources of the main institution with the goal of creating common public information and educational space; V parameter - to identify the time frame and periods of functioning of non-formal education institutions (NFEI), in order to identify the optimal algorithm for the functioning of educational establishment-symbiont in the schedule structure of the main institution. The basic principles of formation of the system of the NFEI and their figurative solutions have been determined and substantiated. The main principles are the principle of systemic transformation, the principle of differentiated openness, the principle of typological and functional flexibility, the principle of concentration and branching, the principle of functional planning adaptability and variability and the principle of functional accessibility. Among the basic principles of the figurative solution of NFEI buildings, the following are identified: the principle of compositional and figurative compliance with the purpose of the institution and its planning solutions; the principle of correspondence and opposition of the image of a building to the environment; the principle of scale (elements, materials, facade-shaped and interior solutions, etc.); the principle of attractiveness of a complex solution of an architectural object or an ensemble. Main groups of techniques that implement the basic principles and principles of figurative solutions have been determined: analytical and strategic, structural and functional, volumetric and spatial, architectural and planning. Techniques and theoretical and methodological mechanisms for ensuring the systematic implementation of the principles of forming the architecture of non-formal education institutions are expressed in certain algorithms of actions. Such a methodological approach to the formation of the architecture of buildings of non-formal education institutions is illustrated by the implementation of the author's research results. The information is supported by illustrations of the implementation of the author's theoretical developments in design.
