Leonenko N. Mechanisms of state regulation of the tourism sector of Ukraine.

Object of research: state regulation of the tourism sector of Ukraine. Objective: theoretical and methodological substantiation and development of practical recommendations on optimization of mechanisms of state regulation of the tourism sector of Ukraine. Methods: sociological method, hypothetical-deductive method, deductive proof of the proposed research hypothesis; structural and functional analysis; dialectical approach and system method; a number of comparative methods; statistical method; prognostic method; theoretical and conceptual method. Results: the topical scientific problem concerning the theoretical and methodological substantiation and development of practical recommendations on optimization of mechanisms of the state regulation of the tourism sector of Ukraine has been solved. Novelty: a model of optimization of state regulation of priority objects of the tourism sector has been proposed; conceptual strategies for the development of mechanisms of the state tourism policy formation have been formulated, which propose to ensure the implementation of the main function of tourism development legislatively; a comprehensive system of tourist destination competitiveness has been developed and scientifically substantiated; improved: methodical bases of the innovative approaches implementation in the state regulation of the tourism sector at the stage of the Ukraine’s economy modernization; scientific principles of state regulation of the tourism sector development on the basis of the analysed foreign experience; directions of increasing the tourist destinations competitiveness; further developed: the conceptual apparatus of the science of public administration in terms of defining the definition of “state regulation of the tourism sector”; substantiation of the systematic approach to the introduction of modern state measures for the development of the tourism industry during the quarantine period. Implemented in the activities of: Department of Tourism of Kyiv Regional State Administration, Department of Culture and Tourism of Poltava Regional State Administration, Department of Youth and Sports of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine.
