Ushchapovskyi Y. Institutional structure of economy in the economic thought of Ukrainian in the 19thand early 20thcenturies

The scientific paper on the basis of the methodology of modern institutionalism elucidates the achievements of Ukrainian economic thought representatives in the 19th and early 20th centuries in the study of the economics institutional structure in the plane of genesis and evolution of the methodological principles of institutional analysis. The importance of humanistic axiological factors of the modern stage of scientific knowledge development for historical and economic research and the integrity of the historical reconstruction of phenomena and processes are emphasized. The need to use the methodology of institutional analysis and to create a coherent concept for the development of Ukrainian economic thought during the investigated periods is substantiated in the context of the crisis of the leading neoclassical paradigm of economic science. The advantages of using systematic, synergetic, civilizational and evolutionary approaches for improving the existing research programs in economic theory and for ontological and epistemological analysis of the processes and phenomena in Ukrainian economic thought development are proposed and substantiated. In the plane of systematic approach based on the comparative analysis of the traditional and new institutionalism methodological foundations of the conomic systems institutional analysis is disclosed. The choice of the research program of socio-economic institutions based on the model of the person "homo institutius". The need for "endogenization" of institutions is noted, as not only institutions restrict the individuals’ actions, but individuals also form institutional constraints. The understanding of the concept "institutional structure of the economics" is proposed and substantiated. The algorithm of the economics institutional structure study in Ukrainian economic thought in the 19th and early 20th centuries was developed, according to which its analysis occurs initially in the context of the institutional environment, which is based mainly on informal institutions, and then in the plane of institutional order, which contains predominantly formal institutions.
