Object – training of teachers of preschool institution in institutions of higher pedagogical education; the purpose of the research is to theoretically and methodologically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical system of preparation of future teachers of preschool institution for the development of musical abilities 4-7 year-old children’s; methods – theoretical (system and functional analysis, comparison, abstraction, modeling, classification, systematization and generalization), empirical (observation (direct, indirect, long-term, fixed), expert assessments, generalization of independent characteristics, conversations, interviews, questionnaires, testing, pedagogical experiment), statistical and analytical data processing; novelty – the theoretical and methodological bases of preparation of teachers of preschool institution for development of musical abilities 4-7 year-old children’s are substantiated; the pedagogical system of preparation of teachers of preschool institution for development of musical abilities 4-7 year-old children’s which contains conceptual-target, content, procedural-technological and estimative-reflective blocks is designed; organizational and pedagogical conditions of effective functioning of pedagogical system of preparation of teachers of preschool institution for development of musical abilities 4-7 year-old children’s (formation of motivation of students to musical and creative activity; creation of creative cultural and educational environment on the basis of integrated training of art disciplines; systematic involvement of applicants to active and creative extracurricular activities); results – development and implementation of the pedagogical system of training future preschool teachers for the development of musical abilities 4-7 year-old children’s in the educational process of higher education institutions; educational and methodological support of the process of preparation of future teachers for the development of musical abilities 4-7 year-old children’s during the study of disciplines of psychological and pedagogical direction; modification of educational and methodical complexes of disciplines "Pedagogy", "Psychology", "Ukrainian art in the historical dimension", "Theory and methods of music education".
