The thesis aims at solving an important applied scientific problem of improving the quality of workpieces manufactured from powder materials by pressure treatment. Problems of pressure treatment of titanium powder blanks and the ways of their solving are defined. The characteristics of powder blanks quality were determined. The research substantiates the necessity of applying the methods of pressure treatment of workpieces. The structure of the technological process to produce semi-finished products and the use of twist extrusion deformation have been substantiated. The main effects that occur during severe plastic deformation of powder workpieces were investigated. The structure and texture formation processes, changes in thermophysical and mechanical properties, technological plasticity and the ability to strengthen were studied. Recommendations for improving the process of twist extrusion, technological equipment and tooling have been developed. The economic and environmental effects were estimated.
