Essay

The object is a phenomenon of electrogenated chemiluminescence on modified electrodes. The purpose is to develop scientific bases of creation, work management and analysis using sensors based on the phenomenon of electrogenerated chemiluminescence at functionally modified electrodes. Methods - electrochemiluminescent and electrochemical studies (cyclic voltammetry, rotating disk electrode, pulsed voltammetry); optical spectroscopy; methods of spin-coating and Langmuir-Bloggett; numerical solution of equations of mathematical physics and kinetic equations; mathematical statistics. Results - electrochemical and ECL properties of electrodes modified with nitrogen doped diamond-like films; physical and chemical model of ECL excitation process in the films with molecules of luminophores and tetraphenylborate ion coreactant; method of ECL emission sensitization with CdSe semiconductor quantum dots in systems with low-performance emitters; properties of multicolored ECL from several water-soluble luminophores incorporated in polymer films on the electrode; mathematical models of mass and charge transfer processes in thin-layer ECL sensor with a modified working electrode; the influence of the kinetic parameters of the electrolysis signal and the presence and properties of a semipermeable polymer film on the electrode on the efficiency of the ECL signal generation in the analytical system of the amino acid tryptophan – coreactant tetraphenylborate ion.
