There is accomplished the theoretical and methodical generalization and offered a new decision of an academic problem of the professional teachers' growth in the system of the continuous pedagogical education in the thesis. Besides, for the first time, there is developed and substantiated the concept of professional teachers' growth in the system of continuous pedagogical education, and allocated the stages of this process: the stage of professional self-determination and development during training in higher education institutions; stage of professional development and growth during postgraduate training. All of that leads to the implementation of the research at the level of three concepts: methodological, theoretical, and practical.
The proposed model of professional teachers' growth in the system of continuing pedagogical education contains target, methodological, content-technological and effective blocks. Its purpose is to identify ways and means to actualize the goal of continuous professional teachers' growth during the learning process and professional development in higher education institutions. According to the leading idea of the concept, the effectiveness of professional teachers' growth appears in the conditions of continuous pedagogical education due to such regularities as: continuity of its stages in professional teachers' growth, the dependence of the dynamics of professional teachers' development on the motivation and level of readiness of students for professional growth; the correlation between the processes of development of professional, research and methodological culture and the functions of continuing pedagogical education.
In the process of experimental research, there has been scientifically proven the effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions of professional teachers' growth in the system of continuing pedagogical education. There also has been outlined the most effective technologies, forms and methods of professional teachers' growth in the system of continuous pedagogical education, and summarized the results of the experimental study.
The experimental study took place during 2016-2020 and covered four interrelated stages of the pedagogical experiment: exploratory, advisory, formative, and generalized.
The practical value of the obtained results lies in the development of educational and methodological support of the professional teachers' growth in the system of continuing pedagogical education. There were developed and tested teaching literature: «Formation of professional competence of the future physical education teacher by means of innovative technologies», «Modernization processes in Ukrainian education». They are expedient to use in the educational process of higher education institutions.
