Essay

The dissertation is the first domestic complex monographic research of theoretical-methodological and practical bases of legal interpretation. The work on the basis of special methodological toolkit substantiates the understanding of legal interpretation, identifies categorical, subjective factors and forms of legal interpretation, the current state and prospects of development in Ukraine. The regularities of the process of formation and genesis of legal interpretation through the prism of epochs from ancient times (from the time of ancient Rome) to the present are distinguished on the basis of changing connections and views of interpreters and scientists of different historical periods. Emphasis is placed on the relevance of comparative law research, which is determined by trends to interpenetration, borrowing, harmonization and unification between different legal systems in the modern world, in particular on the methodology of legal interpretation.
