This dissertation presents a new approach to solving the problem of improvement of the treatment and secondary prophylaxis treatment of the ischemic stroke in the patients with manifested viral infection . It explores the frequency of detection of herpes and enteroviruses in the patients with manifested viral infection; their spectrum and possible associations of herpes and enteroviruses; establishes a link between the persistence in the blood of herpes and enteroviruses; the scale of their atherosclerotic damage to the vessels, and the other effects and recurrent strokes; observes the proxy potentiating effect of the virus infection on the modelled atherosclerotic process and the experimental antiviral drugs that were used in combination therapy and the follow-up stroke prevention treatment. A large-scale study has been carried out on the frequency of the defined herpes of viruses and enteroviruses in the blood of patients with acute desoders of blood circulation and clinical viral manifestation in a history describing their spectrum and possible associations. This dissertation establishes a link between the manifestation of viral herpes in the blood of the stroke patients during the autumn/winter season.
