The essence of the concepts connected with the financial and economic mechanism of realization of social function of the state is analyzed in the work, the results of scientific researches in this sphere are generalized. On the basis of existing theoretical developments and empirical experience the concept is formulated and the structure and structure of the financial and economic mechanism of realization by the state of social function are defined.
