Object: the process of forming a strategy to ensure the competitiveness of industrial enterprises. Purpose: to develop a strategy to ensure the competitiveness of industrial enterprises and recommendations for its improvement, in order to make and implement effective management decisions. Proposed: for the first time: an algorithm for the process of forming a strategy to ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise, which takes into account the goals and objectives of the strategy, which allows industrial enterprises to use their strengths due to available resources in market segments to implement a high level of innovation and competitiveness; a methodical approach to assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise is offered, which permits the use of individual and group indicators of product competitiveness, financial condition, production efficiency, sales and promotion of goods, indicators of competitive potential of the enterprise, its environmental friendliness, image and social efficiency; a methodological map as an informal procedure for determining the criterion of optimal competitiveness strategy of industrial enterprises is proposed, which is based on management principles and takes into consideration the system of competitive strategies and criteria, which allows to develop and implement a strategy based on competitive advantage; the methodology of the analysis of incomes of the industrial enterprises is offered on the basis of ARIMA-model and Box-Jenkins model which provides use of the integrated model of correlation regression for the purpose of forecasting of the income on investment deposits of the enterprise; a model of enterprise development strategy is developed depending on changes in the internal and external environment of market conditions, competition, the life cycle of goods, works and services, which will allow companies to increase the level of competitiveness in the market; improved: a methodological approach to comprehensive assessment of the strategy of competitiveness of the enterprise, which takes into account the financial, personnel, technological, legal, market and environmental components, which allows to determine the impact of each of them on the competitiveness of the enterprise; a methodical approach to defining the relationship between investment efficiency and business activity indicators, which considers the innovative factors of effective enterprise development and allows to form a strategy of competitive advantage, using modern methods of economic management; principles of competitiveness management, which are generalized on the basis of systemic and process approach, which permits the companies to direct systematically and harmoniously their efforts to development, allows to form criteria for each employee taking into account his career opportunities that balance the interests of employees, owners and the state, considering the competitiveness of the enterprise; a system of competitive strategies of the enterprise, which takes into account the strategies of competitiveness of industrial enterprises, the formation of competitive advantage, diversification, focus and cost leadership and competitive behavior, which are aimed at micro activators of innovation potential and allows to develop an offensive or reversible strategy that will ensure a stable state of the enterprise in the industry; has been further developed: the comprehensive assessment of the formation of a strategy to ensure the competitiveness of industrial enterprises, taking into account the heterogeneity of the environment of their operation, which allows to form a factor space to ensure a comprehensive study of the strategy of competitiveness of industrial enterprises; methods of assessing competitiveness considering the life cycle of the enterprise, which provides for the calculation of an integrated indicator of competitiveness taking into account the life cycle index, defining the essence of the concept of "competitiveness of the enterprise"; determining the essence of the concept "strategy to ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise"; methods of analysis of the effectiveness of the system of strategy for ensuring the competitiveness of industrial enterprises through the selection of key areas to overcome obstacles to the implementation of the strategy for ensuring competitiveness.
