Doroshenko V. Theoretical and methodological foundations of social policy as an institution of public administration

The purpose of the dissertation was to solve the actual scientific problem of conceptualizing the theoretical and methodological foundations of social policy as a public institute, in particular, an institute of public administration in the historical retrospective and in the current conditions of globalization. In the dissertation: the basic categorical apparatus, methodological foundations of social policy research as a public institute, are formulated; systematized the historical discourse on the evolution of social policy as an institution; features of institutional functioning of social policy in the conditions of globalization and European integration are characterized; outlined the institutional environment, identified the peculiarities of social policy of Ukraine at the present stage of state-making process; modern doctrine of public social policy of Ukraine is formulated and scientifically substantiated; conceptualized the system of principles of modernization of public social policy of Ukraine; practical recommendations for modernization of social policy of Ukraine as an institute of public administration have been developed.
