Essay

The author’s concept of future teachers’ training for the formation of legal competence of primary school students is theoretically substantiated. The concept covers methodological, theoretical, practical levels and takes into account the requirements, specifics, features of pedagogical and legal activities of primary school teachers, legal needs of junior students. There has been developed and experimentally tested the system of preparation of future teachers for the formation of legal competence of primary school students. It reflects the relationships between subsystems: target, methodological, semantic, procedural and diagnostic. The pedagogical conditions of future teachers training for the formation of legal competence of primary school students are singled out and substantiated. They are: stimulation of the value and legal sphere of future primary school teachers; improvement of the content of pedagogical and legal training on the basis of integrative approach; modeling of pedagogical situations for formation of legal competence of future primary school teachers; implementation; pedagogical and legal interaction in the format of «teacher-student-pupil»; improvement of educational and methodological support for the training of future primary school teachers. The essence of the concepts «future teachers training for the formation of legal competence of primary school students», «pedagogical and legal competence of the future primary school teacher», «readiness of future primary school teacher for the formation of legal competence» is specified. The content of pedagogical and legal training of future primary school teachers has been improved. The content of courses, integrated modules has been updated and structured on the basis of an integrative approach; as well as the procedural component of professional training (innovative teaching methods and technologies) and diagnostic tools. The provisions on the component composition of readiness (components, criteria, indicators) of future teachers for the formation of legal competence of primary school students have been developed. Implementation of competency and integrative approaches, specific principles of pedagogical and legal training of future primary school teachers are concreted.
