The thesis focuses on the theoretical generalization and the new solution to the problem of theory and practice of the young people with disabilities social integration by means of socio-cultural animation, which consists in substantiating the essence of the people with disabilities social integration, its components, building a theoretical model of the people with disabilities social integration process by means of socio-cultural animation and appraisal of structural-conceptual and procedural support of using the means of socio-cultural animation in the process of the young people with disabilities social integration. The essence of the people with disabilities social integration as a phenomenon and as an activity is scientifically substantiated in the research, its components (namely, essential, subjective, target, subject-conceptual, methodological (principles), operational (means of integration), effective ones) are singled out; the construction of the theoretical model of the people with disabilities social integration process by means of social integration is carried out, structural-conceptual support of using the means of socio-cultural animation in the process of the young people with disabilities social integration (namely, object, purpose, tasks, details of social, educational, cultural aspects of socio-cultural animation, levels of their implementation) is substantiated. The essence and the role of conditions (such as psychophysiological, social, social-psychological ones) and factors (social activity of an individual) of the young people with disabilities social integration are determined. The criteria (namely, adequacy of the internal picture of the disease, the nature of self-esteem, value orientations and motivation for change, manifestation of social activity and subjectivity, the social support network effectiveness) of the young people with disabilities social integration are outlined and the corresponding indexes are substantiated. In the thesis the following has been specified: the conceptual and categorical apparatus (namely, animation, socio-cultural animation, animation activity, integration, social integration, the young person with disabilities social integration) and methodological principles of socio-cultural animation means implementation in the process of social-integrative work with young people with disabilities (namely, bio-psychosocial, activity, subjective, culturological and animation approaches); significant characteristics of young people with disabilities as a social-demographic group (such as age, social status, the specifics of social-psychological development) and object and subject-matter of social work (namely, health loss level, disability index – functional, personal and social-environmental limitations, the need for social assistance, support and protection); the connection of people with disabilities social integration with social inclusion and rehabilitation of people with disabilities; approaches to the factors of young people with disabilities social integration (traditional, subject and object-oriented ones); typology of animation activities taking into account the characteristics of young people with disabilities. Issues of legislative and scientific support for the use of socio-cultural tools in working with young people with disabilities; development of directions, ways and methods of realization of socio-cultural animation basic methodological principles in the process of working with young people with disabilities have been further developed. Level of young people with disabilities social integration (optimal, sufficient, insufficient) taking into account their age, occupation, disability index and nature of dysfunction have been determined which has become an empirical foundation for determining the main accents, directions and ways of procedural support of experimental work. Procedural support of the main directions (educational, social and cultural) to use means of socio-cultural animation in the process of young people with disabilities social integration as a set of traditional (such as information campaign, educational campaign, social-educational and information-educational projects, interactive room, playroom, training program) and innovative (such as social-artistic marathon, Laboratory of Social Integration and Animation, animation club) forms of animation activities has been tried and tested
