Boiarkina L. Scientific bases of reproduction of healed seed potato at two-yielding culture in the conditions of the south of Ukraine

The object of research is the process of reproduction of healthy seed potatoes on a double-yielding crop under irrigation conditions in the south of Ukraine. The goal is to develop the most effective methods for obtaining high-category seed potatoes based on the source material improved by biotechnological methods in a double-yielding crop under irrigation conditions in the south of Ukraine; to form a database on the organization and management of potato seed production in the Southern Steppe. Methods - field, mathematical-statistical, computational-comparative, abstract-logical and systems analysis. Results - The results obtained in this work are brought to the level of practical application and are used in farms of Kherson region in order to obtain potato seed material of high categories under irrigation conditions of in the south of Ukraine. The developed agrotechnological methods of growing potato products for various purposes with the use of double-yielding crops are used by farms of various forms of ownership. The yield of tubers during spring planting and early harvesting and summer planting with freshly picked tubers is 20-22 t/ha. The implementation of developments made it to provide the region producers with high-quality potato planting material. The database "Electronic information and reference base "Potato Seed Production in the South of Ukraine"" is used in the educational process of Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Mykolaiv National Agrarian University of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The novelty of the results consists in solving an important scientific problem of developing scientific bases for the reproduction of healthy seed potatoes in a two-crop crop under irrigation conditions in the south of Ukraine by substantiating the methodological foundations for obtaining high-category seed potatoes based on the source material improved by biotechnological methods in a two-crop crop under irrigation conditions in the south of Ukraine. The results of many years of research have been systematized and structured, a set of thematic reference books on the organization and management of technological processes of potato seed production under double-yielding crops under irrigation conditions in the south of Ukraine has been developed. The existing new approaches to assessing the impact of factors on potato yield and seed productivity with economic justification are summarized and developed. Mathematical models of correlation and regression dependence of potato seed productivity under the influence of various factors are developed. Scientific value - by substantiating the methodological foundations for obtaining seed potatoes of high categories based on the source material improved by biotechnological methods, an important scientific problem was solved in the development of scientific bases for reproduction of healthy seed potatoes for a two-yielding crop, ensuring accelerated reproduction of seed material potatoes while save and maintaining its varietal purity, productive characteristics and sowing qualities by propagating material in a two-yielding crop under irrigation conditions in the south of Ukraine.
