Essay

The dissertation considers the problem of theory and methods of labor and professional training of students with musculoskeletal and intellectual disabilities in a special school. Theoretical and methodological bases of labor and professional training of students with complex developmental disorders are substantiated and a new solution of the scientific and applied problem of their labor training is presented. According to the results of theoretical research and own empirical research for the first time designed, scientifically substantiated a holistic continuous methodological system of labor and professional training of students with complex developmental disorders in special schools, substantiated its pedagogical content, identified components and mechanisms, stages of labor and professional training, success rates at each of them; methodological approaches to the organization of labor and professional training in special institutions of general secondary education are substantiated. The method of formation of labor competence of students with complex developmental disorders is developed, data on its features on the selected indicators (emotional-value, cognitive, operational-activity) at the basic stages of labor and professional training at school are received, levels of formation of labor competence at pupils are revealed; the factors and leading indicators that determine the level of general labor and professional training of schoolchildren are singled out. The psychological and pedagogical bases of optimization of labor and professional training of students with the musculoskeletal system and intellectual disabilities are determined. The pedagogical conditions on which the efficiency of realization of labor and professional training of pupils depends are outlined, in particular: organizational, providing maintenance of the educational environment, modern technological equipment, active involvement of parents; didactic, which includes the selection of accessible content of educational material and its appropriate structuring in the individual program; the choice of adequate to the capabilities of the student methods, techniques, tools and types of work for his/her systematic labor and professional training; correctional and rehabilitation, which includes correctional and rehabilitation support of the child's education based on the psychophysical capabilities of each student; psychological assistance to the student and his/her parents; various forms of presentation of educational information in order to protect students from physical and mental overload.
