Essay

In the dissertation work the actual scientific and technical problem in the field of technology of mechanical engineering is solved - development of technological maintenance of increase of operational characteristics of details of cars by formation of the strengthened surface layer with nanocrystalline structure on massive details by frictional processing. For the first time, a technological method of forming surface layers with a nanocrystalline structure is proposed, which combines their high-speed heating and cooling with intense plastic deformation, which is realized using tools with continuous working surfaces. A mathematical model of the thermoelastic state in the surface layers of metal under the contact zone of the tool-part is developed; mathematical models of dynamic processes during processing of flat and cylindrical surfaces of details. The formation of structure, phase and chemical state of layers, quality parameters of treated surfaces and surface layers, their influence on operational characteristics, namely, wear resistance during friction with different types of lubrication and contact fatigue load are investigated. Technological processes of surface hardening of working surfaces of machine parts and technological equipment have been developed and introduced into production.
