The dissertation the scientifically-applied problem of increase of working capacity of fingers of spherical hinges by static-pulse processing is solved. Theoretical preconditions have been developed and a number of experimental studies have been carried out, on the basis of which a method of bipolar static-pulse hardening of external incomplete spherical and cylindrical surfaces of rotating bodies has been proposed. Substantiation and selection of design and technological parameters of equipment for static-pulse processing are carried out. The influence of technological parameters on the value of the deforming tool feed is considered and mathematical dependences are constructed to determine the processing modes taking into account the coefficient of overlap of plastic impressions. The design of the generator of mechanical pulses of bipolar action is offered and calculations of constructive and technological parameters of the equipment are carried out. The cycle of work of the generator of mechanical impulses is considered and the mathematical model of its work is constructed. The influence of the parameters of the static-pulse hardening process on the formation of the surface microprofile is considered. The technological equipment and technology of manufacturing of a part like "finger of school" are offered. A machine of modular design with numerical program control is proposed for bipolar static-pulse processing of external incomplete spherical and cylindrical surfaces.
