The purpose of this dissertation is the development and scientific substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles, methodological approaches and practical recommendations for the implementation of the management mechanism of cooperation of higher education institutions for the development of global competitiveness. For the first time in the work, in accordance with the formulated research objectives, a methodology for the development of a management system of cooperation of higher education institutions is proposed, which is based on the provisions of the network economy, taking into account the combination and coordination of modern scientific approaches, management theories, which provides the opportunity to see the phenomenon of cooperation of international higher education institutions as a complete system. The conceptual principles of management of joint cooperative higher education institutions for the development of global competitiveness have been formed, based on the maximization of resource complementarity and the minimization of institutional incompatibility, the main purpose of which is to ensure the development of cooperation of international higher education institutions as a factor in increasing the efficiency of the activities of higher education institutions in three areas: education, research and technology transfer taking into account the peculiarities of the international activities of higher education institutions. The theoretical principles of the development of the system of empirical evidence of the advantages of the transition from cooperation to transnational partnership of higher education institutions in accordance with the achieved level of socio-economic efficiency of the management mechanism are summarized, the levels of analysis are taken into account - the macro level (regional / national); meso-level (institutional, regional, sectoral) and micro-level (individual higher education institutions) and allows to single out economic growth as an indirect economic benefit from transnational cooperation, which can be the result of increasing and improving human capital stocks due to higher quality of education, technological innovations, quantitative and qualitative growth of fundamental and applied research; A scientific and methodological toolkit for analyzing the advantages in the management of cooperation of international higher education institutions is proposed, which takes into account the sequence of such stages as: analysis of the external environment; analysis of economic and non-economic benefits from cooperation in the field of higher education, which more fully reflects the current conditions of economic activity of higher education institutions. The scientific and methodological provisions for modeling the management mechanisms of joint cooperative higher education institutions, which are based on the use of Smart PLS software, take into account the effect of latent variables, and also, in contrast to existing approaches, allow to determine and justify the system of appropriate measures to increase the level have been improved and substantiated. effectiveness of cooperation in the long term, to improve the system of ensuring the quality of education, network work and R&D. Updated methodological and practical regulations for determining the socioeconomic efficiency of the mechanism of cooperation management of higher education institutions for the development of global competitiveness are proposed, which are based on the basis of ensuring international cooperation in the field of higher education in compliance with the principles of globalization, internationalization, massification and marketization and take into account the assessment of factors of ensuring social economic efficiency: level of achievement of missions and goals; level of complementarity and coordination of partners' actions; use of human capital; coherence of the elements of the institutional network of project implementation; estimates of time and resources spent; development of communication; the possibility of implementing organizational strategies, organizational structures, the appropriate level of management; personnel, financial resources and support services. The information support for the management processes of cooperation of international higher education institutions, which is based on an improved integrated system of information support for these processes and contributes to the effective and timely adoption of strategic decisions regarding the cooperative activities of higher education institutions, the spread of international cooperative forms of joint activity of higher education institutions in Ukraine, is considered and structured in detail, contribute to the spread and improvement of market relations in education.
