The thesis expounds the results of the aesthetic estimation investigation given by the Russian symbolism theorists D.Merezhkovsky and A.Bely to the personality and literary activities of Pushkin. It gives the analysis of the Russian symbolists aesthetics conceptions containing the development of Pushkin's main art principles. The art symbolistic criteria are given a new meaning. The national roots of the Russian symbolism aesthetic are under analysis.
