The essence of the workers preparation system has been grounded as a pedagogical system with productions functions; the history of management of systems of qualified workers preparation in Ukraine during 1888-1998 has been shown and its periods have been determined; the essence, structure and contents of managemend of systems of workers preparation at different historical stages have been displayed; the main tendencses in maintenance and development of these systems management in Ukraine have been discovered; of practical recommendations relating to restructuring of professionsl labour education in country have been worked out.
