The obtained results permitted to give a substantiated characteristic of epidemic situation with diphtheria in Ukraine and to reveal the main factors that contributed to the epidemic oridgin. On the basis of the studies that were carried out the combined evalution of immunologic and epidemiologic efficiency of children's and adults' vaccinal prophylaxis was carried out.
