Komisarenko A. Detection, Isolation and chemical Study of Natural Cardenolids, Terpenoids, Phenilpropanoids and Accompanyng Substances

The present study is devoted to systemic detection of prospective floral sources, includiny 49 kinds of plants. Which have been comprehensively investigated to isolate 125 substances derivated from cynnamonic acid, cumarinum, 2- and 3-phenylbenzo-(-piron, terpenoids, steroid substances of cardenolid nature and other compounds. The study discusses their methods of detection, isolation and analysis. A special attention is to the investigated interconnected between the chemical structure of the isolated agents and their biological action. A series of cardenolid monoethereres of succinie and marlinic acid have been synthesised. It has been established that the etherification of cardenolids with the given acids exterminates the cardiotonic effect. For the attribution of furocumarines the psoralene or angelycine rows with the vicinal-and-propane fragment of lacton OH-group in C-5 position present a new method for the isomerisation of the lacton riny has been elaborated.
