Thesis is devoted to the issues of heavy metal content in the environment and their influence on health of inhabitants in industrial region conditions. The methodical aspects of complex hygienic evaluation of spreading of toxicating metals and microelements in the environment and peculiarities of studying their influence on reproductive function of women are dealt with in this work. It was established that heavy metals in case of their complex entrance to the organism with water, air and food increase the risk of complications of pregnancy and deliveries and promote development of pathologic conditions and of inherent anomalies of new borns. Measures of individual preventive metalocorrection and of prevention of respective specific complications and of improving of reproductive health of women are proposed and grounded.
