Shuba O. Religion in etnonational development of Ukraine (political analysis)

Dissertation is devoted to investigation of theoretico-methodological and political aspects of interaction of ethnos and religion in the process of their historical transformation and in conditions of Ukraine modern social and political reality. The role and the meaning of confessional factors in national life of Ukrainian people are show. The process of evolution and Ukrainian Orthodoxy peculiarities as national-original religious and ethno-cultural phenomenon are disclosed. The role of other religions in ethno-national development of Ukraine is cleared up. The connection of the national and religious revival in modern conditions is investigated. Tendencies of the development of ethno-national and religious processes, causes and essence of the conflict between churches. Ukraine national and state interests in religious sphere are outlined, the main directions of their securing in conditions of Ukrainian State system organization are determined.
