Essay

Object of the research is criminalistical forecast as a separate science, as a theoretical-methodological basis for realisation of forecast function of criminalistics. Main purpose is development of conceptual statements of criminalistical forecast as separate science on the basis of integration of knowledge. Methods of the research are dialectical, statistical, systematic, structural-functional, formal-logical, comparative-historical, and documental. Scientific novelty of the research is that for the first time in criminalistical literature of this country, the author forms conceptual statements of the theory of criminalistical forecast from the position of systematic approach on the basis of general theory of criminalistics and its inter-scientific links, together with the data of the forecast. The materials of the dissertation can be used for further development of the problems of criminalistical forecast, and conclusions and recommendations formed in it can be used in practical activity of the law- enforcement bodies, forensic-expert practise, teaching process, while development of textbooks and manuals. Basic concepts of the research were reported to scientific-practical conferences, and according to their results the reports were sent to the presidium of the Academy of Legal Sciences and Home Ministry of Ukraine. Field of application is forensic-investigation, operative-search and expert activity, teaching process. The author plans publishing of monograph and manual.
