The thesis is a theoretical and experimental study of the problem of management of the process of future managers` professional responsibility development in the field of economics. The leading idea of the study is that the level of professional responsibility of future managers in economics will increase if the organizational and pedagogical conditions of professional responsibility development are provided;the model and the technology of management of the process of future managers` professional responsibility development in the field of economics are designed and implemented in the process of their professional training in higher educational institutions.
The urgency of the research problem is explained by the fact that at the present stage of society development responsibility as a professional quality is considered to be the main requirement and fundamental value of a personality and the vector of sustainable development and, accordingly, professional responsibility development is becoming a priority in the course of professional training.
The work systematized the existing theoretical approaches to defining the essence of the concept of "management of the process of future managers` professional responsibility development in the field of economics", identified its essential characteristics, and carried out its content analysis. The results of the content analysis enabled us to define future managers` professional responsibility in the field of economics as an integrative socio-psychological and professional quality of their personality, which determines the high level of performance of professional duties in the field of economics, as well as willingness to be responsible for the results of their work and the work of their subordinates. "Management of the process of future managers` professional responsibility development in the field of economics" was specified as a purposeful pedagogical influence of management entities on students` learning activity (given the functions of planning, organization, motivation and control) in the context of technologisation of the learning process with an aim to develop the components of future managers` professional responsibility in the field of economics.
In this work the aspects of managers` professional responsibility (moral, legal, economic, social and psychological) were structured and the motivational and psychological vectors of personal awareness of managers`responsibility were described (manager's ability to perceive historical and traditional social values; system of moral and ethical values, norms and beliefs, formed in the early childhood due to the purposeful influence of family and social environment; meeting the natural need for self-affirmation and self-actuialization in the process of implementing their professional tasks; existing and potential impacts on managers and their management decisions by other people and organizations). Based on the aspects of managers` professional responsibility, the components of future managers` professional responsibility in the field of economics were identified: motivational, value-based, activity-based and personal.
The model of management of the process of future managers` professional responsibility development in the field of economics was developed. The main structural components of the model are established, namely: conceptual, methodological, organizational and substantive, diagnostic and results-based components, which are interconnected.
The paper proves that feedback is important in the management process, the purpose of which is to constantly monitor the educational process, so the components of the management model of the process of future managers` professional responsibility development in the field of economics should be implemented through monitoring with the use of a qualimetric approach.
The work includes methodological recommendations for the implementation of the management model of the process of future managers` professional responsibility development in the field of economics. The recommendations are interdisciplinary, since the model is variable and can be adapted to different conditions of its use. It can be also used as the basis for the development of specific methods of its implementation.
The practical value of the prepared materials is corroborated by their implementation into the educational process of higher educational institutions, namely: Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (reference No 2/86-02-102 of 20.05.2020), Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy (reference No 105-02-18 of 22.05.2020) and Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy (reference No 59- 01-291 of 21.05.2020).
