Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of means to see fulfilled the new innovation processes of vegetable raw materials drying and equipment bringing it about.On the basis on analysis of world and national markets of oily plants it is sown that such plants as sunflower, soybeans and corn are strategically important both for inner consuming and for export. The dependences obtained as a result of analytical and experimental studies allow calculations of advanced equipment and technological modes for which a method of calculating the parameters of the drying process under conditions of combined electromagnetic energy supply and algorithms for design and test calculations of belt dryer with infrared and microwave were developed. The plant operation modes in which the specific energy consumption per 1 kg of removed moisture is 2.96 MJ/kg for sunflower, 2.55 MJ/kg for soy and 3.44 MJ/kg for corn have been established.
