The dissertation is a complex research of an actual pedagogical problem of formation of tolerance of students of pedagogical colleges in extracurricular activity that was reflected in the theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of pedagogical conditions of formation of tolerance of students of pedagogical colleges in extracurricular activity. On the basis of interdisciplinary analysis of the researched problem the essence of next concepts is specified: «tolerance», «tolerance of students of pedagogical colleges», «formation of tolerance of students of pedagogical colleges». The work considers the «tolerance of students of pedagogical colleges» as an important professional quality of a future teacher, shown in an active moral position and readiness for constructive interaction with other participants in the pedagogical process; it is characterized by the identification of humanity, tolerance, benevolence, focus on resolving conflict situations in the professional sphere on a non-violent basis. Criteria and indicators of tolerance formation of students of pedagogical colleges are determined: cognitive; emotional-valued; behavioral, and the levels (high, medium, low) of the formation of tolerance of students of pedagogical colleges are determined and characterized. The levels (high, medium, low) of tolerance formation of students of pedagogical colleges are characterized, based on certain criteria and indicators. Based on the analysis of educational practice, the results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment and the use of the method of expert evaluation, the following pedagogical conditions for the formation of tolerance of students of pedagogical colleges in extracurricular activities were identified and theoretically substantiated: development of the author's program of educational hours for students of pedagogical colleges «Stepping towards tolerance»; involvement of students of pedagogical colleges in participation in student self-government aimed at the formation of tolerant behavior; organization and holding of classes for mentors of student groups «Forming tolerance of future teachers».
