In the dissertation research the author comprehensively analyzes the principles, tools and directions of optimization of public construction administration in Ukraine. The categorical and conceptual content of public construction administration in Ukraine is revealed. The essence of public administration of construction in Ukraine is revealed and generalized. The scientific nature of normative bases of realization of public administration of construction in Ukraine is found out. The tools of public administration activity in the field of construction in Ukraine are defined and described. The public service activity of the public administration during the implementation of public administration of construction in Ukraine is revealed. European standards are identified and generalized and a comparative characterization of foreign practice of public construction administration is carried out. The directions and concrete offers concerning changes and additions to the legislation concerning public administration of construction in Ukraine are formed.
