Essay

A component of the quality of higher education, an indicator of the effectiveness of professional training is its responsible attitude to learning and educational outcomes. In this context, academic integrity is a system-forming characteristic of the educational process in higher education and influences the formation of moral and ethical qualities of future professionals: trust, justice, responsibility, decency, integrity. However, the prevalence of dishonest behavior among the student community, irresponsible attitude to the results of educational activities reduce the quality of education and lead to insufficient formation of professional competencies of future professionals. The study of European practices for the development of academic integrity among students can become a model for Ukraine in overcoming the problems of academic dishonesty, namely writing off, plagiarism, rewriting, dishonest grades, and so on.
