Efficient use of the existing resource potential of rural areas will ensure the growth of socio-economic development, increase in agricultural production, increase the efficiency of agriculture, the stabilisation and improvement of the demographic situation in rural areas, achieving maximum employment of rural population and improving their living standards, rational use of land, etc. The resource potential of rural areas are the possibilities of the total volume of realised and non-realised resources of certain rural areas (natural, human, agrarian and industrial, financial and economic, business, administrative, information, investment, innovative, recreational and other), accessible at the given stage of development of society of their interrelation which use allows to reach the economic effect, as much as possible satisfying needs of the population.
