The thesis study focuses on the development and implementation of cloud services for the project learning of future information technology specialists. The thesis analyzed the national and foreign experience of using project learning in the learning of future information technology specialists, which made it possible to establish its characteristics: the need to combine the use of services for project management and collective IT development, the need to create practical-oriented tasks of the IT industry for the execution of individual and group projects; development of common competencies in the execution of projects; the need to use interdisciplinary projects to build the integral competence of the future IT specialist. The concept of «project method» and «project learning» for future specialists of the IT industry has been clarified. The definition of the project method is supplemented by the characteristic on ensuring that future information technology specialists are trained to work together to solve real problems, promotes efficient development of professional competences and soft skills. The concept of project learning for future information technology specialists has been clarified as a process of active learning during which a student performs a project assignment in the field of information technology, working for a long period of time in researching the subject area and finding a solution to the problem individually or as a team, dynamically managing stages of work and own time. The servicesthat should be used for project learning of future IT specialists and for the management of IT projects have been identified on the basis of the developed and pilot-tested selection criteria and indicators: the possibility of forming teams; assigning tasks to team members and prioritizing tasks; communication between team members; organization of videoconferencing;working together in real time; planning and preservation of team performance; integration of additional services. Github cloud service was offered for collaborative IT development during the project learning process, in accordance with the following selection criteria: the possibility of working together on the code;tracking of errors; discussion of the code with other team members; management of code versions and integration of additional services; availability of repository, wiki and integration code editor for additional services.
A methodological model for the use of cloud services for project learning of future IT specialists has been justified and developed, based on such components: conceptual, unifying theories, principles and methodological approaches of learning; informative-methodical, including standards of learning of IT specialists, educational programs and curricula, professional competences and skills soft necessary for the future of IT specialist, working curricula of disciplines, as well as methods and forms of learning; activity, in which the stages of formation of professional competences and soft skills, the services and means that were applied at each stage, as well as the competences that were formed during each stage are highlighted; diagnostic and effective, including indicators to assess the level of professional competence in IT project development, personal efficiency, communication, management, strategic and information management skills, development levels and assessment methods. Project tasks, e-learning resources, learning methods and process models in the use of cloud services have been developed over four activity phases: preparatory, basic, integrated, and final.
