Stavnycha N. Social security of Ukraine in the context of ensuring sustainable development

The thesis deals with the solution of the scientific problem, which consists in substantiation of theoretical and scientific-methodical bases and development of practical recommendations on strengthening of social security from the standpoint of achieving the goals of sustainable development of the state. The first chapter "Theoretical and methodological foundations of social security in the context of sustainable development of the state" explores the economic essence and content of the concepts "security" and "social security". It also clarifies the role and place of social security in the system of ensuring the implementation of the Goals of Sustainable Development of Ukraine, substantiates the scientific methodological approach to the assessment. The second chapter "Diagnostics and assessment of social security of Ukraine" explores the nature and characteristics of the manifestation of threats related to life, economic insecurity of citizens, in the provision of health care and education. The assessment of the social security of the state has been carried out. The third section "Prospects for strengthening social security in the context of sustainable development of Ukraine" explores aspects of social security integration into strategic national governance, proposes the structure of the provision mechanism, forecasts the level of social security and forms directions for its strengthening.
