A dissertation is a complex research of theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of conditions of formation student’s motivational readiness for professional activity in trade. The study assumes that in the nearest future trade sector in both public, small, and medium-sized businesses sector in Ukraine will be in priority and competitive dynamic development. The application of the method of content analysis in the theoretical part of the research allowed us to make comparative analogies with the term «motivational readiness», which has its complex and ambiguous application in various fields of science and practice. Based on theoretical and experimental research, the concept of «motivational readiness» of the individual to choose a future profession is considered as a set of motives that determine the positive attitude of the student to the chosen specialty and motivate and direct him to study future professional activity. Theoretical generalization of scientific approaches to the formation of motivational readiness of the individual in professional genesis, factor analysis of the experimental research results of motivational readiness of future trade specialists allowed to reveal its conceptual foundations. The analysis of the author's questionnaire results served as a basis for the development of a motivational readiness conceptual model of specialists for future professional activity in the field of trade, which contains blocks: theoretical, ascertaining, psychodiagnostic, formative, and methodological support. This approach allowed to substantiate the psychodiagnostic tools content for the implementation of the empirical and experimental part of the study and the formation of the main motivational readiness components for future professionals in trade and economics to determine the level of their formation and development «Psychological training program for motivational students in trade». 255 students of the Trade and Economics College of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics took part in the observational experiment (hereinafter TEK KNTEU – 107 boys and 148 girls, including 1 year (38 boys and 50 girls), 2 years (39 boys and 55 3rd year (30 boys and 43 girls) students of the following specialties took part in the study: specialty 076 «Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activities», educational – professional program «Commodity and commercial activities»; 075 «Marketing», educational – professional program «Marketing activity». The results of the survey served as a basis for the formation of main components of motivational readiness to choose a profession by future professionals in trade and economics, the formation of psychodiagnostic tools for the level of their formation and development of «Psychological training program of formation the students` motivational readiness in trade» further usage like «Psychological training program». At the empirical level, the peculiarities of the content, structure, and manifestations of motivational readiness of students for professional activity in trade are revealed and it is proved that the motivational readiness of future trade specialists is a multidimensional phenomenon. Analysis of the structure and features of professional competence of the subjects showed that each of these components has its content, performs important functions, and plays a role in the formation of motivational readiness of future professionals to work and its successful maintenance in the process of professional genesis. In the course of the carried-out work criteria and indicators of levels of motivational readiness, formation is established. General approaches to defining the concept of motivational readiness and substantive characteristics of the psychological structure of motivational readiness of trade professionals have been improved, which made it possible to form a generalized understanding of the concept of motivational readiness for future professional activity in general and trade in particular. The effectiveness of the influence of the «Psychological Training Program» during the professional training of students has been experimentally proved and methodical recommendations for its implementation in the educational process have been prepared. Based on the correlation, factor, and comparative analysis the levels of formation of the most significant components of motivational readiness of future trade specialists for professional activity are determined and the effectiveness of the author's «Psychological training program» is proved, empirically confirmed, and introduced into the educational process with students of Trade and Economics College of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics.
