Orlenko D. Development of composition and technology of combined dental gel for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity

In the dissertation work the composition of active and auxiliary substances of dental gel for treatment of infectious-inflammatory diseases of gums and oral mucosa is theoretically and experimentally substantiated; the rational technology of production of the combined gel under the conditional name “Hyaldent” according to which the technological scheme of industrial production is made, critical stages and parameters of technological process are defined, as well as criteria for their acceptability; standardization of the drug “Hyaldent” gel is developed, quality control methods and technological regulations are developed, which were tested in industrial production, proved the stability of the “Hyaldent” gel, it was packed in laminate tubes when stored at 25 ± 2 °C for 27 months; the specific activity of the developed gel on the model of experimental gingivitis was investigated and its effectiveness in the treatment of diseases of the oral cavity of inflammatory origin has been determined. According to the results of pharmacological studies, the dental gel “Hyaldent” has a pronounced anti-exudative, anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effect.
