Konovalenko I. Development of composition and technology of phytomedicines for the treatment of menopausal disorders

The dissertation thesis is devoted to the theoretical and experimental substantiation of the composition, technology development and research of phytomedicines in the form of collection, dry and liquid extracts (drops) on the basis of a complex of medicinal plant raw materials for the treatment of menopausal syndrome. The etiopathogenetic aspects of gynecological disorders caused by menopausal syndrome are analyzed and generalized. According to the results of the analysis of the range of the pharmaceutical market for the treatment of menopausal disorders, the urgency of creating new phytomedicines of multidirectional action has been established. The results of experimental researches on definition of indicators of quality and the basic technological parameters of medicinal plant raw materials which are a part of a medicinal collection, dry and liquid extract are carried out and generalized. The influence of extraction parameters of the developed drugs is studied. The technology of production of collection, dry extract in pharmaceutical and industrial conditions and liquid extract in industrial conditions is developed. The quality indicators of the developed medicines are determined according to the requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine, the methods of identification and quantitative determination are developed and substantiated. Microbiological researches are carried out, stability of the developed medicines is studied. The results of studying the specific pharmacological activity of the developed phytomedicines are generalized.
