Burlaka Y. Procedural Independence of Investigators in Criminal Proceedings

The paper is focused on studying theoretical and applied issues of procedural independence of investigators in criminal proceedings. The choice of the topic is due to a change in the vector of criminal procedural activities of investigators in accordance with the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine of 2012, which necessitates rethinking of its role, functional orientation, procedural powers, etc. The introduction substantiates the choice of the dissertation’s topic, determines its relationship with scientific programs, plans, topics, grants, outlines the purpose and objectives, the object and subject matter of research methods, indicates the scientific novelty and practical significance of the obtained results, provides data on approbation of the research results, publications and structures.
